Race 3 - MRT Cup - January 3rd 2009
The third and final event of the MRT Cup took place at Fern Bay Gold. The qualifying was quite tough in this one, [SR] Storm_Cloud qualified 9th on the grid and [SR] Tongey reached 13th. After an excellent sprint race which saw both of our mates making up a lot of positions: [SR] Tongey finished 4th within less than half a second ahead of [SR] Storm_Cloud! The feature race however was tragic and ended with two DNF's and proved again that the high curbs at Fern Bay are very deadly especially with the MRT. Other than the unlucky DNF's both of you have shown some really great racing in the Cup, congratulations and better luck for the next one!

Race 2 - MRT Cup - December 29th 2008
The second event of the MRT Cup was held at Aston Cadet Reverse. [SR] Tongey qualified on a 14th position which disappointed him a lot but he fought well and finished the sprint race at 7th place. The start of the feature race looked very promising due to the fact of being 2nd on the grid (Top8 reverse grid rule) but a very unfortunate corkscrew corner flipped Tongeys MRT and ended his race with a DNF. Very frustating and unlucky mate but all the best for the final event of the Cup! [SR] Tongey's race comments
Race 1 - MRT Cup - December 27th 2008
The first event was held at South City Town Reverse. [SR] Tongey qualified on 5th position and after an impressive start he finished the sprint race at 3rd place. He started the feature race from 6th due to Top8 reverse grid rule and he managed to deliver an even more impressive race this time around and finished it with a very nice 2nd place. Race 5 - December 20th 2008
The final race of the MiniFBM Series was held at South City Town. [SR] Mistatea qualified 3rd, and finished the sprint race with a 4th place but an unfortunate timeout in the feature race cost him the chance of winning the championship.

Race 5 - December 17th, 2008
XFG at Blackwood GP Reverse was the combo for the final race in the league. [SR] Unipro got 3rd place in the Race 1 and 5th in Race 2, [SR] Element got 2nd place in Race 1 and 3rd place in Race 2. In the overall championship standings [SR] Unipro finished at a great 2nd place, [SR] Element reached an impressive 3rd place, and [SR] Fletcho reached a very solid 6th place but unfortunately missed the last race day. Race 4 - December 13th 2008
[SR] Mistatea had a great return in the forth race of the MiniFBM series. He got the pole position in qualifying, won the sprint race and finished the feature race in 4th position. He's now only 5 points behind the current leader in the championship. Congrats Taha! Stats and replays
Race 3 - December 6th 2008
[SR] Mistatea qualified 5th in this round, timed out in the sprint race and placed 6th in the feature race. He was very disappointed about this race but you know Taha, we believe in you, you can and will turn it around again. 
[SR] Gjerde and [SR] Unipro also entered the league in this round. [SR] Gjerde qualified with an excellent 3rd place, he placed 4th in the sprint race and had unlucky DNF in the feature race, [SR] Unipro qualified 9th, and he finished a great 3rd place in the sprint race and an even better 2nd place in the feature race! Race 4 - December 3rd, 2008
XFG at Kyoto National was the combo in this weeks event. [SR] Element got the pole position in qualifying and finished 3rd in Race 1 and 2, [SR] Unipro was 5th in qualifying, 4th in Race 1 and 2nd in Race 2, and finally [SR] Fletcho, he qualified 6th, and finished 5th in Race 1 but had an unlucky DNF in Race 2.
CSF wins SR most Improved driver

Chris Ford, aka [SR] CSF, has won SR's November most improved driver of the Month award. Chris has come on in leaps and bounds and his dedication and bravery, racing in MOE whilst still a relative newbie, has made him worthy winner.

Alex Gassman, now known as [SR] Gasser, has today joined SR. Alex is a young English Racer who races the Mk1 Toyota MR2 Racing series in real life and we hope will be a great addition to the team.
