The first round of the International Grand Touring Championship took place at Blackwood and would prove to be a dramatic race.

Qualification was incredibly tight with My3id's Hugo Luis ahead of SR's Mark Bunby with a great lap of 1.06.19, with Mark on 1.06.31.

Rudy van Buren drove the first hour and overtook 3id's K.Kliaudaitis in the 4th lap. He then drove a near perfect stint to hand the car over to Jason Lovett with a 13 second lead.

Jason Lovett then also drove a 1 hour stint, with 3id's Karolis doing a double stint. Without too many incidents, Jason drove well to hand the car over to Mark Bunby with an 8 second gap to 2nd place and half way through the race.

Round 4 of the Grand Touring Amateur League took place on the fast but dangerous Westhill track for a 6 hour race.

Driving for Sonicrealms Racing would be Welshmen Sebastian Hutchinson and Gavin Mason, with German driver Felix Funke.
Seb started the race from 14th position, but had a great start to end up 3rd after a few corners. He then overtook Tommy Ostgaard in 2nd, and would take the lead when ex SR driver M.Saidl timed out. Seb was able to increase this lead to over 8 seconds after his 2 stints, which included a SC period where his previous lead of 10 seconds was wiped out. No matter, when he passed over the car to Gav, things were looking good for SR.

Qualify
The qualify went quite good. I had 35 kg's of weight and still managed P5. I was happy about that. I set that time in my first lap and messed up all the others. P4 was possible.

Race 1
Race 1 was a very clean race for me. I found a really good racing partner in J. Holmes. The race was all about surviving because I had 35kg onboard. In the end I got P5 and did very good in comparison to my main rivals in the championship.

Sebastian Hutchinson's Comments - Qualy went well. Didn't prepare for the race, was just doing it for the lol (As you could see from my off and huge damage on Lap1)
Jason made the set in about an hour before the race, so didn't even know if the r2/r3 set could make the distance.
Damage caused my tyres to wear unevenly so had to pit early. Luckily there was a planned SC, so I knew that I might be able to get away with repairing the damage.
I did, I got into P3 after SC and started reeling in 2nd place at over 1 second a lap. Then my front left burst

24 Hours of Aston Grand Prix

This round would prove to be a nightmare for both our classes, suffering numerous disconnects, wheel problems, and various other issues. The fact that the team managed to even finish the race was a testament to the character of the drivers.

All the drivers drove good stints, but the time lost with the technical issues would prove to be too much to get a decent result.

GT1 still managed to finish in 10th place, with the GT2 team finishing in 14th.
